Message received on 4 January 1997

Blessed Virgin Mother of the Revelation, 2.45pm approx

This is the message of the Blessed Mother on this day:

I come to you at the command of Father, the Almighty to help you understand the dangers and the temptations of the world you live in. I bring you the love of the Father that you may receive the strength which you need to overcome the obstacles you are facing. I have warned you of the difficulties in overcoming fear while searching for the truth.

I have asked you to be good guardians of your intellect, and not to allow untruths to influence your conscience. This last is particularly a hard task to follow because it is here that you are most tempted to alter your understanding of God's will. Here you are most vulnerable since all are tempted to accept that which is pleasant to yourselves, and reject that which increases your feelings of guilt and reduces the esteem which you have of yourselves.

Remember not to equate the judgment of God, the Father, the Almighty, to your own judgment of your brothers and sisters, for the Father loves you, each one of you, unconditionally. This is why scriptures have been teaching us all, myself as well, not to consider the faults of your brothers but rather to be honest about your own faults.

Be guided that when you see only the faults of others, you are in greater danger of side-stepping your salvation. Excessive self-love may cloud your judgment and lead you to indulge in envy and jealousy. Accept therefore the sense of guilt which your actions create in yourselves as an indicator to seek more justice in your judgments of others and your own actions. Do not deny it by placing blame on others, nor must you indulge in the sense of guilt excessively for that is equally dangerous to your salvation as it can lead you to despair with equally terrible consequences.

I come to meet you here, through Adelia, by the will of the Father, to encourage you foremost to seek your own individual salvation and to seek truth for your own guidance. There are those, even among such few as you are who, half-believing, nevertheless come because they are concerned that they may lose some personal benefit. Know this, that which you ask for, in your own understanding of your needs, may not be for your personal good, according to God’s will.

And there are those who, having been granted what they ask for, nevertheless continue to half trust and therefore reject the grace of full faith and trust in the Father. I say to you, do not come to me unless it is with full resolve to know my son, the Saviour. If you do not have sufficient faith, ask the Lord, Jesus, my son to grant you that you may be able to pick up the gift of faith which is available to all equally.

When you receive a benefit, be grateful to God, for all comes from Him. Be not simply grateful for the benefit, but also for the instrument through which you receive it, for the Father ordains all, including the instruments,  that the benefits and understanding and spiritual increase may benefit each of you. When the Father grants you a benefit, be equally concerned that you understand clearly that it comes from Him. Do not avoid being grateful for the benefit received through the intercession of any one person by allocating praise over too many: denying the messenger is to deny the source. If you cannot be grateful to your brothers, how can you be grateful to God, who gives you all, including your brothers and sisters.

Lack of proper gratitude is selfishness which state which will cloud your understanding and therefore your response in gratitude to the source of your benefit, namely God, the Father, through me. The response of gratitude is a further step towards fullness of faith.

Equally do not seek me solely as a means to obtain a benefit. Great is the danger in that, for it leads you to selfishness which is deadly to the soul.

I have spoken to you fully of the imperfections which human nature has acquired through disobedience to God's commands. Those imperfections are not imposed on human nature by God, the Father, the Almighty. They are acquired by your own will. Do not seek me when you are motivated by imperfections such as lack of charity, disregard of truth, greed, manipulation of your brothers for your own advantage, lust for money and riches and for all forms of unlawful sexual gratification including sodomy in which one here present is indulging, gluttony, jealousy and envy and all else that I have been making you aware of, because such is the same blasphemy which led you into exile as it was directed against God, the Father, the Almighty. Rather examine your conscience with honesty, accept the guilt which will follow and understand that when you are in the grip of such motivations, when your mind is clouded by confusion and misplaced sense of self-love you call on the Lord, the Saviour, and in contrition you ask Him to show you the meaning and the reasons for your feeling guilty so that you may be guided to seek full forgiveness.

When such doubts beset your judgment, seek to humble yourself first, rather than to blame others. Seek the example of Jesus and ask yourself what it is that He would do in the circumstance you find yourself in.

Know that Jesus is the truth and that only through Him can you obtain salvation. Salvation for mankind comes through Jesus, but the Lord requires your own co-operation in full free will. You co-operate fully when you seek to imitate Jesus, my Son. Therefore do not allow yourself to reject the sense of guilt, but rather accept it as a warning that you should change your attitude towards yourselves, your motives and your aims.

Similarly, do not reject suffering as your right to seek pleasure instead. Rather accept the suffering as a gift of the Father, the Almighty God who is in eternity, and ask that you may be granted the power to withstand it. Suffering is granted to mankind as a means to return to God, eternally.

Adelia ………

I bring to all the unconditional love of God, the Father, the Almighty.

She smiles and leaves.
