These are the words of the Blessed Mother on this day:
Children of God the Father, the Almighty, you ask about suffering and consider that often it is not deserved. Some ask to be relieved of physical suffering, others are tormented by the suffering of the soul. You ask why!
I say that suffering is joined to the fallen nature of man and, meeting with the suffering of the crucifixion of Jesus, enters the way to redemption. Suffering is a meeting point of the human creature, created in the image of God, with the Almighty: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The greatest examples of all forms of suffering are visible in the history of mankind: man is suffering in so many ways that I could find them difficult to list. All that is suffered by mankind is there for the one reason – to bring to the consciousness of the children of God the knowledge that suffering can become the force bringing humanity into salvation.
I have told you often that suffering sent by God the Father, the Almighty is for the good of humanity even when it is the loss of a child, the loss of a parent or a spouse, the loss of physical health or property or any other essential for life on earth. Therefore, children of God the Father, the Almighty, accept the suffering sent you by the Triune God and offer it to the purpose God intended for it.
Pray at all times that you may receive the graces necessary to accept God’s will at all times. Pray that you may be given the strength to bear the suffering sent to you by God with humility and profound gratefulness and in the personal exercise of the individual free will.
If any deride you and mock you because you accept the suffering which will unite you with the Saviour, in whichever form it is sent to you, rejoice because you are uniting in the Christ and entering into the way to your salvation.
Children of God the Father, the Almighty, know as well that to enter the way of salvation is the free choice of the individual person.
When a brother or a sister is resentful because of the suffering which they are undergoing and it appears that they are unable to proceed without help, then extend your love over them and help them to understand that it is right and just to accept the will of God the Father, the Almighty and to turn to Jesus, my son, for the help which is there for them, always.
