These are the words of the Blessed Mother on this day:
The Lord, Jesus my son asked you to offer the other cheek, when someone strikes you. This was not to reduce you to slavery to the powerful, nor to sacrifice your conduct as followers of the Christ. It was to teach you not to assume that you can practice the justice of God, the Father, the Almighty. Any one of you who strikes his brother in any way, by words or deeds or for any reason, cannot call himself a follower of the Christ. The Christ alone can practice justice on Mankind, as He will. Great as is the compassion of God, the Father, the Almighty so is His justice from which no one can escape. Therefore remember that, if you accumulate that which you do not need, you practice an injustice because the gifts of the Father are for each member of humanity; if any of you accumulates what he does not need, he deprives others of the essentials. But each of you is entitled to enjoy the fruits of labour performed. Therefore if a poor person calls on your compassion, remember to share what you have. Remember that you offend against the compassion of the Father when you say to a poor person "I have only that which is necessary to my survival, I cannot help you" while you know that you possess more than sufficient and that what you possess you allocate to your greater benefit and to make yourself great in the eyes of your brothers and sisters.
Remember that you have come to your wealth by the ability which the Father has granted to you. Therefore what you have belongs to God, the Father, the Almighty. Is it just that you use what you have according to your own personal justice? Rather recognize the hand of the Father in all the events you live through and, when called, act according to the will of the Father and follow the example of Jesus, the Saviour.
The person who has great holdings of land and other wealth, offends against God, the Father, the Almighty when he refuses the labourers to husband the land, but rather lets it lay fallow while others hunger. The man who has 100 rooms in his house and only ten of these are occupied, offends against God, the Father, the Almighty when he refuses shelter to the derelict. Such persons will know the justice of the Father.
