The Blessed Virgin of the Revelation, 2.15pm
In prayer our small group unites in declaring sorrow for any deed not pleasing to God, our Father. We ask for forgiveness. We ask that we may all of us unite in the joy of venerating our Blessed Mother, in her presence.
At some time soon after, the Blessed Virgin, our mother, is with us. She stands in the middle of the stream. The great eye is again with her. A soft light emanates from the eye, embracing her. The souls are also present, in their thousands. The old Bishop is there also as well as Bishop Foley. All and each of them look at the Blessed Mother. As we begin to recite the Rosary, they all kneel, some in the water, some on the banks and most of them in the fields, under the fruit trees. They appear to be in their thousands. She speaks:
I have remarked from time to time that mankind has forgotten the reasons which have led to the exile. This is often at the cost of truth. The authorities have allowed the omission of some truth in favour of other truths.
I advise that truth cannot be damaged by truth. Rather, when truth is deliberately omitted, or even superimposed by another aspect of truth, forgetfulness settles in the mind of mankind. I pray that the authorities will set their aims at the restoration of all memory now that it is generally understood that it is necessary to maintain intact that which is the essence, even among the individual changes as they have taken place throughout the times. I advise that forgetfulness carries a power within, a human power tempting to opportunism, particularly those in authority.
In truth all becomes open to the cooperation of man. Human suffering becomes more bearable when it is understood that it can be transformed into moral strength, cooperating with Providence. In truth, therefore, the suffering of the innocent cannot ever be understood as divine injustice because, in truth, human suffering teaches that life is the gift of God, the Father, the Almighty and that life is best used in the alleviation of that same suffering, leading man towards the fulfilment of life's moral end.
In truth, it cannot be conceived that Providence is there primarily to supply mankind with temporal well-being. Providence is the hand of God present in all human events. Providence is universal and operates eternally to unite virtue with happiness. Providence will never allow that the just will suffer eternally.
As for this world to which mankind is confined there is no equivocation as to the reasons for it and the residence of mankind in it. The truth is in Revelation. Life and death and suffering are part of the world where man lives until the coming of the Lord. The Providence of the Father sees, hears and governs.
I have asked that you pray for men of goodwill to enter the priesthood. Keep this petition in your prayers.
