These are the words of the Blessed Mother on this day:
Children of God, you have heard some leaders of religion declare that the Church maintains an untruth when it proclaims that the bread and the juice of the grape are the Body and Blood of the Christ. Many faithful follow in this confusion because, they say, such a belief defies logic.
Remember therefore that the Church is the guardian of all divine messages which are preserved in particular formulations which the Church names dogmas. Dogmas hold a total truth which the human intellect may not be able to accept as truth. Dogmas are the truth gifted to the Church supernaturally.
Yet there are those who would introduce into the core of the dogmas a new presentation and new understanding. Some of these may say that Jesus, my son, is but a man totally subject to the will of God, the Father, the Almighty. It is true as well that others maintain the truth of the dogma which proclaims Jesus to be true man and true God.
Please remember that perfect faith is believing that which remains a mystery to the human intellect.
Many theologians of your time reject a wise research into the truth for its legal adaptation to the situations of the times. Instead they research pluralities which speak of the freedom of opinion to which they are entitled because of the gift of free will.
They would be wise if they remembered to confine their researches to the word of the Scriptures and the teachings of the Church. It is not wise however to bring the Church to a historically backward understanding of the faith which can affect the practice of the religion of the people of God.
It is legitimate therefore to invigorate the development of the believers and the compassion of the faith towards obtaining a better understanding of that which is the revelation. Therefore the Church suffers when falsehood is not checked and when the faithful are not advised to disregard teachings which have deviated from the truth.
She smiles and leaves.
