These are the words of the Blessed Virgin Mary on this day:
Many of the leaders have said that the changes which have taken place in your societies have taken place because the values of the Church and those of the world have progressed to ever diverging directions. They whisper and agree between themselves that it is no longer possible to teach that lifestyle to the people which leads to salvation because the Christian environment is no longer there to fully support the work of the Church. So, they have proposed to encourage the formation of fragmented groups of Christian believers, that they may support each other in their faith. But nowhere has been heard the mea culpa which God, the Father, the Almighty longs to hear!
So I ask these leaders in the Church to renew the memory of Jesus, my son. How Christian was the society in which He lived? How varied were the means of communicating with the people at that time? How did the Lord, the Saviour meet the people? How far did He and His followers walk to meet the people?
True that many small countries were formed, many and far between! But the leaders at that time all and each spoke with one voice, and all and each in great tribulation and in striving to overcome their own imperfections, presented themselves to the people not only in words, not in pomp, but mainly through their acts of faith and their deeds of goodness and succour.
But the governors of the Church today, by encouraging the faithful to form their own communities, have they provided the faithful with that guidance which is authorised to be imparted by the anointed ones, the priests?
Instead they say “you have been baptised, you are a priest, you and each of your brothers and sisters are priests, therefore you have within yourselves the means of salvation!” If they really believe so, what need is there for priests? How many are the instances where the faithful have fallen into the guidance of unscrupulous individuals who are concerned primarily with their own interest and gain.
What are the results? Do you not hear some of the faithful proclaim that Jesus was a good teacher, but a man empowered by the Holy Spirit? Do you not hear that they say that I am His equal? Do they not realise that when they make me equal to Jesus they intend to make Jesus equal to me! Was my son no more than Mary’s son? Many are the people who so proclaim!
Yet Jesus did give power to the Church. Those who govern the Church may reject much. But let it be known that what they disregard shall be taken from them forever!
In the future the Church will be fragmented and not only territorially, because the essence of the teaching of the Lord, the Saviour, Jesus, my son, will be distorted by that which too many of the new leaders will assume to themselves to teach!
The riches of the Church will be appropriated by the unscrupulous posturing as leaders and the spiritual riches will hide, seeking protection in few small pockets of persons who truly wish to follow the Christ!
Therefore, governors of the Church, seek to truly and finally unite in the one heart of the Lord and guide all priests to ask themselves, at the end of each day “how many hearts have I touched today? How many are the persons that I have directed towards salvation?”
But fear not! The virtues of the Church are in me and those who listen will enjoy and rejoice in the rebirth of the Church of the Lord, Jesus who alone is the Saviour!
She smiles, a little sadly and leaves.
