This is what the Holy Mother said on this day:
I have told you many times that I was sent to justify that which was promised in my name, not at our request. Truly, the title given me in this instance was designed by some persons, one in authority in the Church, to justify that which is the teachings of the Church. The teachings can be no other than that which is revealed by the Word.
How good is God the Father, the Almighty, whose love is ever present in the destiny of mankind. He does inspire even the poor in spirit toward salvation. Truly, the Word is the Truth. The truth is one and against it each one of you can justify your understandings which can be different, one from the other!
The Word entered the history of humanity to direct its destiny towards salvation. Understand clearly and always, that the history of humanity can in no way impact on the unchangeable divinity of the Word, while history, on the other hand, does increase in the children of God the ability to comprehend the revealed truth.
Nevertheless, the revealed truth imposes that the teachings of Church may assume new methods, but not new concepts. For instance, the teachings of the Church have correctly described me as Immaculate Virgin because the essence of this truth is contained in the maternity of the divine person which I carried in my womb.
I speak about such matters because it is time that the authorities understand and accept that the loss of faith of your present time, has been brought about by those in authority who have pronounced facts which are in contradiction with the essence of the revealed truth. It is also true that this human weakness of those in authority has had an erroneous influence on the religion of Church from the beginning.
It is therefore salutary that those in authority may seek to divest the religion of the Church of those beliefs which are not contained in the revealed Word. If this is done with kind concern for the suffering which some changes cause amongst the faithful, the Church shall regain its unity because the priests and bishops will again proclaim the truth in unison.
As the Church advances into a new time, there is need for great courage. The Pope understands that it is time to proclaim to all the nations and their governments that it is the right and the duty of the Church to proclaim the revealed truth which includes all moral truth. It is an evil that certain codes of behaviour for your present society are promulgated as truths by social and governmental authorities, nationally and globally to the detriment of the duties of religion. The Lord, Jesus the Christ says that the absolutely first duty of the Church is to teach to all of mankind all moral truth as revealed by the Word.
