These are the words of the Blessed Mother on this day:
Adelia, know that the Holy Souls rejoice that prayers are said in compassion and love for brothers in distress.
Do not be sad. When prayers are accompanied by personal sacrifice in acceptance of God’s will, the Father is moved to grant the request for mercy.
Sacrifice is fertility to the soul. Remember that the Lord’s own credibility was ridiculed and persecuted. Such sacrifice is invariably rewarded by God the Father, the Almighty.
“Look,” she said, and showed me a place of incredible happiness. I cannot attempt to describe it. This place was happiness and peace, and just reward; it was beauty and perfume; it was warmth and refreshing coolness; it was music and gentle song; it was softness and solid comfort; it was shelter and a circle of protection; it was LOVE.
She spoke again:
Understand that the highest sacrifice is to dedicate to God the Father, the Almighty all that a person is and all that a person does, because all there is has been created by God and for Himself. There cannot be a higher sacrifice than that because this form of sacrifice indicates total obedience and total trust in God the Father, the Almighty.
There are some who fear sacrifice, understanding that sacrifice is pain and suffering. Few understand that sacrifice is offering to God, the Father, a perfect gift. When a perfect gift is offered, the soul of the donor reflects the perfection of the Creator. No gift is greater than the sacrifice of one’s self to the glory of God the Father, the Almighty.
There are those who offer sacrifice as a gesture of material value, as there are those who may seek to dispense justice being themselves unjust, those who promote charity for reasons other than charity. There are some who speak of love omitting to love, those who promote chastity, but abstain from chastity. True, all acts can be performed without involving the soul in them. Such form of sacrifice does not require reward from God the Father, the Almighty.
Children of God, seek to know what sacrifice is and what it means and what it can gift to you. Seek to practice it correctly and prepare to enjoy great reward in the growth of your soul toward God the Father, the Almighty.
