Blessed Virgin Mother of the Revelation, Chittering 11.25am
These are the words of the Blessed Mother on this day:
Children of God, you have learned by now that there is a certain spirit which has always attempted to motivate mankind to introduce changes in the Church. It speaks to mankind of independence, of freedom and the cutting away of the ties which bind you to a past which has limited mankind to a lesser state than its own potential.
This spirit continues, particularly in the Church, with its design to impress in the intellect of those who have power, the desire for a new essence of the Church, and through the Church, of mankind. This spirit rejects change which is related to the past. It rejects the growth which unites the past to the present and the future of the Church. Rather it seeks to institute a new organism, a new Church: the temple of the self-glorified humanity, the temple of the self-created man.
Few are they who understand the intentions of such a spirit. Yet this spirit is but a human spirit, telling mankind to seek freedom, and to progress to create a new humanity.
Therefore, let those who have ears listen to the voice of the Word.
You hear the voices of those who insist on new means for communication, of the discoveries of ever new impediments to the practice of the faith, of new conditions and situations, of new problems which all of these, require radical changes to take place in the Church. Such voices relate to the Spirit I speak about: this human spirit which seeks to create a completely new creature while it professes to stimulate the God-created mankind towards a higher quality of its own condition.
You who are the children of God, the Father, the Almighty, you who know the Christ must recognise the guile in the voice of the spirit I speak of, and reject it!
Rather, you will know how to recognise that essential reality which is open to you by the sacrifice of Jesus, my son and which is the perfecting restoration of the integrity of the human nature, through the saving sacrifice of the crucifixion.
