These are the words of the Blessed Mother on this day:
Many amongst you ask for the gift of prayer. Prayer is talking to God, the Father, the Almighty; it is the expression of your desire for God, your desire to know Him, your desire that He should take notice of you. Know that as you progress towards Him who is and always will be, so does your prayerbring you closer to Him. Prayer is the expression of your love for Him, and of your needs. All the children of God can experience His love when in prayer. This is the eternal answer to prayer: the love of the Father for His children. If the answer is not clear to you, you need to open your heart to His love with more honesty, until you are willing to reveal the innermost secret of your soul.
When you pray to me, asking me to intercede, I present your petition to Him rejoicing in His love for all of His children. There is no greater gift to receive than the love of God, the Father, the Almighty.
Some say, “I cannot pray because I am confused. I cannot pray because I cannot find the truth and I do not know where to turn to find it. I cannot pray because I am told often that what I was taught of God and the Church when I was a child, was misguided and untrue, yet no one is willing to tell me what is true. I cannot pray because my mind rebels for lack of guidance. I cannot pray because the tasks before me are too many. I cannot pray because I do not receive an answer. I cannot pray because I am unworthy.” Many are the reasons you offer for your lack of attention to prayer.
This I say to you who are confused and to you who seek to know the truth. It is true that, since the salvation was revealed to you, each person who has written, each person who has proclaimed has added to or interpreted the Word of God.
They are deserving of compassion who, in this time, are attempting to proclaim only the truth when teaching the children of God how to be disciples of the Christ. They experience that the truth is hidden by the fog of many centuries. They, despite their intention to witness only to the truth, find themselves insecure.
With desire to proclaim only that which is true and with the intention to map a safer progress for the pilgrim Church, they listen to the opinions of the many and, often they proclaim as good that which is wrong. Pity them for, having taken away many of the fables, they do not themselves know how to fill the resulting void.
Many amongst those did not consider that the faith of too many children would be shaken. To remove the clothes which dressed the souls of the faithful over many times, to keep them warm in the faith, has caused too many souls to suffer and sometime die for shame of their nakedness.
Many resort to saying that what was a good belief then, cannot be proclaimed in the present time. Taking advantage of this vulnerable state, some go as far as proclaiming that what was good for those who lived in other times, does not apply to now.
Some reach further and say that sin decried in the past, is not sin now.
Others who are in authority are insecure themselves and avoid pronouncing to the faithful, leaving them like blind men to stumble in the unknown.
So I say to all who are insecure and confused, search for the teachings of Jesus, the Christ and believe in Him. Jesus will hear you and you will know that you are praying.
This I say to you who cannot pray: faith in God, the Father, the Almighty is what will lead you to prayer. In faith, raise your hearts and minds to the Father, bless His holy name, His goodness and compassion, thank Him for having created you and nurtured you. And adore Him and Him alone. Abandon yourself in His love. And now, ask Him to grant all that you need, for your soul and your body and those you love.
When you begin to pray, do so with full attention, knowing that you present yourself to Him who has no one higher, to Him who is absolute power and absolute love.
She smiles and leaves.
