Blessed Virgin Mother of the Revelation - 3pm, at Rocco and Connie's place.

Fr Chauncy celebrated Holy Mass today! The little hut was cleaned out. Mario brought a concrete cast altar which Fr Chauncy blessed. A deep joy was visible amongst us all. Fr Chauncy was enthused with the permission he received from the Archbishop to celebrate Mass for the Holy Souls near the stream of Chittering.

After Holy Mass, we gathered near the water to pray the Rosary. At a certain point, the Blessed Virgin came accompanied by the seven Angels. She speaks:

Today I encourage you to pray ever more, because prayer is very helpful in controlling passions and vices. Pray increasingly, little by little. Pray correctly refraining to introduce other thoughts or cares into your prayer. Pray sincerely for the Lord who hears you does not rejoice in your excuses for you shortcomings. Be ever aware that the Lord, the Almighty has created you and is sustaining you and therefore knows you intimately. When whatever kind of affliction troubles you seek refuge in prayer and in meditation of prayer. Remember to try to refrain from praying against anyone for this is offensive to God for prayer is communion with your Creator.

Do not pray for wealth or windfalls: such leads to avarice which is love of money to the exclusion of trust in God. Do not eat to your fullest, even if it gives you pleasure, but in prayer seek to control all urges for excessive food. Prayer assists in the control of lusty desires of the flesh most effectively. Lust is the opposite of love when it is unlawfully indulged.

Prayer assists in overcoming anger, which shuts the mind from the wisdom of God. Prayer assists in deflecting anger against your own vices to the benefit of the soul. The angry person cannot reach wisdom. No anger is necessary nor useful. When a person angers you and you seek to correct the wrong in the person and you propagate that wrong amongst others, you are committing sin.

Prayer helps to overcome dejection which fills the soul with bitterness and encourages separation from certain persons. This is not good, even if we believe that there is good reason for it. Remember that no person can be cured of bitterness unless it is through the rejection of the causes for the passions which are in yourselves.

Prayer assists in the overcoming love of self-esteem which has many forms. If you are not tempted by good attire then you can be tempted by shabbiness; if not by good food, then by fast, when not by renown and honours, then by dishonour and lack of credibility. Consider how you react to all passions if you are angry, feel dejected and listless and you pray against those who cause you to feel thus.

Without sincere prayer, the soul sinks into pride and expresses this in self-esteem. Without a healthy discipline of prayer, the soul will seek to impress on others this self-importance to the detriment of the self-worth of the person who has offended you, could be wrongly, could be with justification. Pray therefore that you may practice self-control, moderation, generosity of spirit and gentleness. This is the lesson which Lucifer rejected.

Refrain also from envy of other person's achievements. You cannot judge the worth of the road your brothers and sisters have chosen to walk and their achievements thereof. No one person can overcome the passions and vices without the help of the Lord. Seek that help in prayer. You will thus learn to remove the beam from your own eye.

Encourage your brothers and sisters to pray and do not ever propagate the information of whatever sin you or your brothers have committed, in your own judgment. Sin thrives on publicity! As you speak of this sin or that which you believe your brother or sister has fallen into, you also inform the listeners regarding that sin and thus they are tempted.

Seek the Lord, children and seek to see His most holy face. You do this best when you pray!
Adelia …………………………………...

She turns to smile on the souls who have gathered near. She appears to speak to them. They fall on their knees, on land and in the stream. After that I fall on my face. When I look up again she is gone.
